  2. The beach – Everyone loves the beach! Find a gentle spot with plenty of sand for play time.
  3. Fly a kite – You can pick up a cheap kite with their favorite character (Elsa, Belle, etc.).
  4. Bike ride – Kids love those baby seats on the back!
  5. Garden – Start a family garden. Give them their own little spot for flowers.
  6. Explore barefoot – They’ll love the sensations!
  7. Plant a family tree – You’ll be able to watch it grow for years.
  8. Launch a rocket – There are several types and prices, but kids love watching them shoot up.
  9. Homemade Popsicle – All you need is fruit and yogurt for a special treat.
  10. Cultural festivals – You’ll probably find several within driving distance and they all fun sights and sounds.
  11. Stargaze – Lay in your backyard and gaze at the night sky. Try to locate constellations.
  12. Play ball – You don’t need a specific game, just a ball and energy!
